Belfast employees feel most appreciated in the workplace

Investors in People, have recently gathered statistics through a UK wide study and the “Survey Says”, more than four fifths of employees in Belfast, feel appreciated in their current employment.

Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “Our research shows that many employees are feeling frustrated in their roles, due to poor management”.    Abacus agrees that strong and inspiring leaders are critical within any business in order to get the best from staff.

As previous stated by Paul Devoy, “these findings should be a wake-up call to leaders and one of the reasons Investors in People has worked with top businesses across the country to launch a leading practice framework, helping organisations manage their people more effectively.”  Belfast not only came out as one of the top locations where workers feel ‘inspired’ by their bosses – with 77% responding positively.

Investors in People conducted the survey to research and improve staff management within the workplace.  Reaching over 3,000 employees across the UK, Belfast also claimed the title of owning some of the most inspiring bosses.
