Major Increase in Temp Recruitment Forecast

According to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), a third of employers are seeking to recruit more temporary staff.
The REC JobsOutlook report also revealed that short term demand for permanent staff has increased as well. The full article is available here.
Alan Braithwaite (Business Director) at Abacus Professional Recruitment confirmed these findings:
"Certainly our revenue in temporary recruitment has substantially risen in part due to winning some public sector contracts but also due to a growing demand from other commercial and charity sectors. Permanent recruitment is still quite cautious but optimism is lifting slightly. The impending budget will help to shape business confidence one way or another naturally."
