ABACUS RECRUITMENT CELEBRATES AWARDS HAT-TRICK
The team at Abacus Professional Recruitment has achieved a fantastic awards treble with recent acclaim in Northern Ireland and the UK. The multi-specialist jobs agency has just received an award at the Institute of Recruitment Professionals gala in London for the category Best People Development. This prestigious national ceremony reflects the leading recruitment agencies throughout the UK and Abacus was the sole representative from Northern Ireland.
This follows another high-profile prize after the NI Chamber of Commerce awarded the Excellence in Customer Service award to Abacus also this month. As the NI regional winner, Abacus has now been nominated to London for a competition pitting them against companies throughout the UK. It represents a very rewarding year for Abacus, following their Recruitment Team of the Year award at Irish News awards in June.
Alan Braithwaite (Business Director) commented on the news:
“We are overjoyed with the recent run of success and grateful for the effort of everyone in Abacus. We place great value in these awards because it reflects the key pillars of Abacus - customers, people and team. We have always enjoyed local recognition because Northern Ireland is our key market, but to obtain an award in London gives us extra pride. We were also very pleased to get recognition from the highly respected NI Chamber of Commerce especially for our dedication to customer service. It reflects a very good year for our business.”
Abacus provides employment solutions to a variety of professional markets including IT, Banking & Financial Services, Accountancy, Legal and Executive Sales. The team manage permanent, contract and temporary jobs by providing employment opportunities for post-qualified professionals and support staff. Now operating for 7 years, Abacus is able to offer ad-hoc and competitively-priced recruitment for local firms as well as solutions for public tenders and large scale recruitment strategies for some of NI’s largest companies.
On the state of the NI labour market, Alan added: “We are glad to see the health of many markets lifting. While it is suffering from some recent fragility, the level of confidence is gaining some momentum; reflected by an increased volume of jobs and higher candidate mobility, as outlined in our recent salary survey which you can find on our website www.abacus.jobs”.
