Abacus Careers are excited to be working with a top manufacturing company in Dungannon Co.Tyrone, Due to continued growth and expansion, Our client has an excellent opportunity for Commercial Accountant to join their team on a Full-Time, Permanent basis.

This person will join the Management team and assist in driving forward the Accounts function in the business to help facilitate exponential growth.

The Commercial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Financial:
• Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts (P&L/Balance Sheet/Cashflow Statement)
• Preparation of year end accounts to trial balance
• Annual budget preparation
• Provision of key performance indicator data to aid management decisions
• What if analysis and Cost-Benefit Analysis
• Business Improvement Projects:
• Drive the implementation of data driven dashboards across the business
• Improve stock management systems
• Provide logistics, distribution and supply chain analysis
• As part of the business leadership team:
• Attend and contribute to monthly strategy meetings
• Provide perspective, analysis and solutions to business issues
• Assessment commercial propositions and provide financial analysis/recommendations
• Supervise and lead the growth of the finance and support team
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with at least 2 years PQE in a relevant finance environment

OR

• Accountancy/Finance graduate with ten years’ or more work experience and minimum of three years in a similar position of responsibility

• Excellent IT skills and systems knowledge
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a management team
• Actively demonstrates initiative

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Knowledge of developing ERP systems in line with company growth
