Area Manager

Abacus is recruiting an Area Manager for a leading charity based in Belfast. You will lead both strategic and operational projects including business planning, project oversight, oversee a team of professionals and be responsible for the growth of your unit.

The charity provides a range of specialist mental health advice and support to the community. It has developed new strategic goals and expansion aspirations but you will be able to shape this and be autonomous with implementation.

You will offer the experience and ability to grow your unit substantially in the years ahead. You will offer experience of managing people, projects and budgets and a business acumen to professionally grow a function including generating new revenue streams, maximising existing finding streams and accessing grants and tenders for projects and funding.

You must offer a degree and at least three years senior management experience of the following:

• Stakeholder and community engagement
• Team management and leadership including staff performance review
• Experience of business planning, financial management and project management oversight
• Service delivery and continuous improvement (ideally in mental health).
