Job Title: CAD Designer

Reporting to the Design Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting the Business Development Managers in the design, presentation and quoting of commercial equipment projects. You will bring innovative solutions to your designs by keeping your product and industry knowledge up to date with industry developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of AutoCAD 2D (commercial kitchen layout plans, Mechanical & Electrical drawings etc.) and 3D drawings (visuals) as required.
  • Production of quotations and collation of project requirements in conjunction with the Business Development Managers.
  • Ensure that all correspondence is dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
  • Key member in collaborating with other teams throughout the life of a project.
  • Production of hand over documentation
  • Key player in helping achieve the department’s sales target.

Essential Criteria

  • Fully conversant with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good knowledge of Trimble SketchUp modelling software.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet timely deadlines as and when required.
  • Strong written and numeracy skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of rendering software.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of the commercial catering industry.
