Cloud Architects

Cloud Architects primarily at Manager and Senior Manager level needed to join a global professional services organisation, as they build out their cloud practice. Successful individuals will be responsible for helping develop clients Cloud Strategies, Operating Models and to assist on every step of their Cloud Adoption Journey as part of major and complex client IT programs of work.

Offering remote working across Northern Ireland, with the odd day travel to company offices this is an excellent opportunity to come on board now and lead from the front in this greenfield team. Shaping the direction and strategy with extensive team growth plans in place with significant opportunities for candidates with drive and ambition to progress their career at pace.

Skills and attributes for success

• Significant experience in one of the Enterprise Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Must have excellent communication, convey confidence and the ability to explain highly technical issues to varied audiences. 
• Knowledge of 3rd party Security products such as Checkpoint, Fortigate and Cisco ASA, along with native cloud platform security services e.g. Azure WAF, AWS WAF
• Proficiency in Office 365 products such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams is an advantage.
• Have exposure and hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code languages like Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Powershell or Python.
• In-depth understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, Conditional Access, Azure AD Proxy, SAML and Active Directory Domain Services.
• Experience at providing technical leadership to project resources to meet project deadlines and ensure project objectives are met.

• Curious and personable.

 To qualify for the role, you must have

• 5-7 years of relevant experience working in a similar role/ environment
• A passion for Cloud Architecture and Engineering.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. 
• Have attention to detail. 
• Relevant industry certification.
• Excellent presentation skills.
