COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Abacus Professional Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a Commercial Account Executive on behalf of an industry leading Insurance Brokerage, based in their Omagh office. Our client is one of the most successful, ambitious independent Brokers on the market with plans for expansion.
An unmissable opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Executive or a Senior Commercial Account Handler looking for their next step to join a progressive, dynamic team.
The essence of this role is business development. It will be your responsibility to develop new opportunities, not only from the extensive existing client book, but also actively prospecting for viable new business options.
In order to do this, you will be required to conduct in depth reviews into existing and prospect client’s insurance needs, while ensuring any changes within the clients’ business are dealt with, and appropriate adjustments made to their policy. The client’s interests will be at the heart of what you do, so it will be essential you gain an understanding of how their business operates in order to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships.
Moreover, you will be able to clearly explain policy terms, endorsements or warranties and of course the impact they will have on the policy holder in question. Furthermore, throughout these interactions, it will be your responsibility to cross sell other products and services where possible, while gleaning further opportunities through asking for referrals where applicable.
Lastly, you will be responsible for ensuring any materials, correspondence and policy documentation reach the client in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy.
You will have at least 3 years’ experience working in the Insurance Industry, specifically dealing directly with and having a broad knowledge of Commercial Lines products and services. In addition, it will be an essential requirement you have an ability to assess risk and suitability.
You will come from a strong business development background, and demonstrate a history of building and maintaining lasting professional relationships. As a consequence, it is expected you will have advanced communication and negotiation skills in order to provide mutually beneficial solutions for both your client and your employer.
You will be able to work towards and achieve targets, delivering results with a high degree of accuracy while effectively managing your workload as part of a larger team.
