Intro

Abacus temporary staffing are delighted to support our client a leading enterprise organisation based in Northern Ireland with offices throughout the province. Our client seeks to appoint an experience front of house administrator to join the office in the outskirts of Belfast city centre to join their team on a temporary 12-week contract.

Why This Role

As the leading supporting of enterprise in Northern Ireland you will join a team of business professionals in providing front of house support to the management team.

You will meet and greet visitors to the business, manage all incoming queries in a professional manner and provide administrative assistance to the finance manager.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the the finance manager and provide administrative assistance to the team, Support Financial Manager in the day to day running of the office, administration and emailing of Board meeting minutes as required.

Whilst you will be reporting to the finance manager you will also be required to provide administrative support to other managerial team members as and when required.

  • Cash handling duties
  • Transferring hand written reports onto Microsoft word
  • Taking minutes at meetings
  • Amending and updating existing reports
  • Filing and management of paperwork
  • Liaising with external agencies and managing all communication
  • Responding to all information request by internal staff
  • Providing a professional service to all clients and visitors

Specifications

  • Minimum of 2 years office administrative experience in a busy office environment
  • Previous reception experience managing front of house with administrative and filling duties
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to display a professional attitude at all times
  • Previous experience in updating reports and use of Excel and Microsoft office packages
  • Previous experience in administrative tasks that requires exceptional high attention to detail
  • Able to start Immediately

Qualifications

  • A-level Educated
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s including maths and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Preference will be given to applicants with specific work processing qualifications
