Who we are working with:

On behalf of our client, Abacus Professional would like to hear from an experienced Senior Credit Controller to work with a top Global Firm in Belfast, Co .Antrim, N.Ireland.

Leading a Team of 5 well-established Credit Controllers you will have experience in the following duties;

Experience with the following essential:

• Experience of dealing with significant customer balances
• Credit Management Experience
• Experience and ability to demonstrate client management skills
• Debt Management success
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Manage difficult stakeholders in a professional manner
• Write off Complex Issues
• Previous experience working with European clients
• Demonstrate ability to movtivate a team
• Previous line management experience
• Computer literate with strong excel skills
• Reviewing credit limits and maintaining accurate debtor records
• Proven experience of working successfully to achieve KPI targets
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Management of credit requests and control of credit insurance
• Experience of taking appropriate measures to recover debt including legal remedy

Essential Criteria

• Credit Control experience
• Team Lead/Management Experience
• Excellent understanding of financial information systems
• Flexible and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Experience in a similar role 1-2 years
• Intention or currently working towards CICM qualification

*candidates with multilingual skills would be advantageous (Dutch/French)
