Abacus are working with a well-known FMCG / manufacturing company based in Armagh who are recruiting for a Service Coordinator. This is an important role where you will act as a first point of contact for customers who are experiencing issues. Therefore, you must have an excellent telephone manner and the ability to remain calm under pressure to resolve the issue.
What you will be doing:
Taking calls and handling the resulting incidents in line with company procedures
Logging calls within 1 hour to service partners
Management of issue to ensure full resolution within 24-48 hrs (Engineer must be on site)
Ensuring revenue maximised for the company
Ensuring warranty claims are processed in line with supplier agreements, getting support for the customer issue where appropriate
Provide updates and escalate internally as required
What you will have:
Excellent telephone manner
Previous experience in a customer service role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to remain calm and resolve customer issues
Strong ability to build rapport with customers
Effective communication with customer is essential to ensure no other department needs to be involved to resolve disputes
