Cyber Security Analyst required for a Global Financial Technology Company. The successful Security Analyst will be part of a dynamic agile Information Security team that are a highly skilled trained operational unit. Varies teams hiring including Detection, Incident, Forensics, and Threat Intelligence.
The company are globally renowned, and the security team are a hugely important part of this business and as such, they are given any resources needed; including training, research time, etc.

Primary responsibilities within Forensics are:

  • Collect, log and store evidence from user systems, servers, network repositories.
  • Create forensic images of RAM, Hard Disks, and unstructured log data.
  • Complete required documentation during the collection of forensic data.
  • Perform structured analysis of forensic artefacts
  • Test forensic tools for accuracy and identify useful forensic tools
  • Conduct digital forensic examinations, providing concise, accurate, and objective reports
  • Collaborate with team to implement best practices in the field of computer forensics

Within Incident Response:

  • Act as lead Incident Response handler for low severity incidents
  • Performing technical analysis on multiple sources of data, threat mitigation and policy enforcement to prevent or stop malware and other attacks before they occur.
  • Development of handling techniques and procedures in the event of an incident.
  • Ability to conduct incident response and perform in-depth investigation into malware, and application/network level intrusions.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

  • Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security or related work experience
  • Experience in Forensics or Information Security
  • Relevant certifications are desirable: SANS, GCFA, GCFE
