Who you will be working with:
Abacus Professional Recruitment are working with an international client who has over 30 offices around the world. This firm have a significant operation in Belfast City Centre employing over 400 people. A requirement has arisen in the company’s finance team to bring on an Accounts Payable Assistant for a permanent position. Our client is looking for a fluent German speaker, previous finance experience is not essential, a customer service/call-centre background could be ideal.
£18,000 – £20,000 approx. plus Benefits.
What you will do:
The Accounts Payable department deals with all office transactions by the firm and ensures that the financial records and documentation relating to these transactions are adequately maintained and easily accessible. Transactions include Supplier Invoices, Staff Expenses, AMEX payments, Counsel fees and Professional Disbursements.
The purpose of this role will see you be responsible for logging and posting invoices to the Purchase Ledger, reconciling supplier records, producing BACS/cheques for suppliers, administration of the firms travel accounts, processing daily cheque requests and data processing.
