HR Administrator

The Abacus Group is delighted to be working alongside our specialist client as they seek to bring in a HR Administrator on to their team, working closely with the People and Culture team.

A brand new role for the business, the successful candidate will be an important part of the team, focusing on coordinating people activities, ensuring their HRIS and documentation is up to date and legally complaint. You might have some experience in a similar role or be newly qualified with relevant people qualification, but this is a great opportunity for professional development.

The Role:

• Ensuring the company manages data correctly and is GDPR compliant
• Updating and maintaining online employee folders and HRIS
• Producing and distributing employee documentation
• Making recommendations on how to enhance the candidate and onboarding experience
• Contributing to the talent acquisition programme, helping draft job descriptions and supporting candidate shortlisting and interview scheduling
• Communicating directly with candidates, ensuring an exceptional experience
• Participating in employee onboarding
• Supporting the employee engagement activities
• Helping to deploy impactful people programmes across the team
• Inquisitive, quickly understanding the work that their people undertake
• Supporting the employee partnership group
• A team player, keen to contribute to the entire People & Culture function

The Person:

• 2 years’ experience in an admin role/ recently qualified with relevant People qualification
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Sound planning and organisational skills and able to work under pressure
• A desire to learn
