Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive HR support to our Supply Chain functions, dealing with a wide and complex variety of HR issues across all levels. The role will involve assisting the HR Business Partner with other cross-functional tasks, such as HR projects on engagement and wellbeing. Normal duties will include: shortlisting and interviewing, assisting with terms and conditions of employment, training and development, investigation, discipline and grievance meetings, absence management and general administration.
Essential Criteria:
- Membership of CIPD
- Full driving licence with access to own car
- 3 years` experience working in a HR generalist role, to include sound experience of the following processes:
- Training & Development
- Discipline & Grievance
- Advising on employment law matters
- Compliance
- Compilation and presentation of KPIs
- Absence management
- Interviewing
- Experience of using HR information system
- Experience of working in partnership with Trade Unions
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
- Ability to manage time/workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Criteria
- Post graduate qualification in HR
Working knowledge of TUPE
