Abacus Temporary recruitment are delighted to be supporting our client a market leader in Outdoor Advertising within the Northern Ireland market.

We are seeking to appoint a highly-motivated Office Administrator to join our clients professional team located in Belfast city centre on a fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave for around 12 months.

You will provide administrative support to a team of marketing professionals that make use of the latest innovate technology to design bespoke outdoor advertising campaigns for leading brands.

The Role

As the office administrator you will be required to support the team in a variety of tasks and work towards key deadlines. You will be tasks with undertaking the following duties:

  • General office administration
  • Answering calls and responding to emails
  • Administration of Out of Home advertising campaigns
  • Data input into company software systems
  • Completing reports
  • Overseeing Health & Safety for the office
  • Dealing with client queries
  • Processing purchase orders, invoicing and payments

Essential Experience

  • Two or more years of experience in an office administration role
  • Proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite; including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to prioritise, multi-task and organise your daily tasks as well as strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills
  • Team player


  • Educated to Degree level ideally in a business-related subject
  • Hold an A-level qualification
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English grades A*-C
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office
  • Strong IT Skills
