Principal Software Engineer C#

Our client, a global cutting edge smart fintech company, and highly reputable in the Belfast market are expanding! Due to growth and innovation, they now have an exciting opening for a Principal Software Engineer to join their Belfast based team.

As an experienced Principal Software Engineer, you will:

• Design and implement new functional areas on a successful platform
• Deliver high precision integrations
• Architect, design and implement core services, processes and technologies
• Apply cryptographic concepts such as certificates, certificate chains, and key management with a healthy interest in their XML and JSON counterparts
• Maintain version control
• Develop software on windows using visual studio
• Supervise Engineers

Experience:

• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET framework
• Knowledge of AD and experience of integration
• Proven success in systems engineering
• Experience of database administration, support, monitoring and optimisation
• Direct experience building large, high-volume, high rate big data processing and low latency
• systems
• Experience with Internet facing services (developing web services – REST/JSON)
• Azure, Windows/Active Directory Administration
• Linux and OSX Administration
• Quality Assurance, Virtualization, DCOM and C++
• AngularsJS, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Writing of custom Installers / WIX (Windows Installer XML)
• Network Tools such as Wireshark
• Decomplication, reverse engineering and analysis of Existing Tools
