Abacus Professional Recruitment are currently working alongside a highly successful Transport Company, Due to significant growth in recent years and expected continued growth the company are seeking to employ a Sales Administrator-Sales Department

Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a small team that is responsible for ensuring pricing accuracy for all products.
  • Setting up pricing for new product lines (with customers and internally)
  • Updating weekly and ad hoc price changes, collating and maintaining all pricing information in terms of product packaging specifications
  • Coordinating the flow of promotional pricing information from customers to our factories
  • Dealing and ad hoc requests from Commercial managers within the team and liaising with customers regarding any pricing or coding queries.

Desirable Criteria

  • A high degree of organisation and attention to detail are therefore essential to be a success in this role as all price changes must be managed in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal are also essential as you will be expected to liaise with and build relationships all levels both internally and externally.


  • You must also be educated to GCSE grade C or equivalent in both Maths and English and be computer literate.

  • Preference will be given to those with proven high speed data entry skills

  • Experience of ERP packages, use of customer internet interfaces or sales administration experience.


  • You should have strong computer skills and be experienced with working with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in an Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger function although the role is also suitable for candidates with an Accounts Administration background with the right skills and approach.
