The day to day

• Help build and implement software tools to assist in the collection and summarisation of current large datasets from clinical research studies.
• Investigate, develop, and document methodologies to discover and analyse datasets from which to build into the data pipeline.
• Plan Data Strategy activities, supervise progress and take responsibility for milestones to stakeholders
• Work with stakeholders to gather feedback and integrate into current software.
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of protocols, data access procedures, data standards and specification documents
• Take part in professional development activities, including increasing personal ability through knowledge-transfer from others.
• Provide technical expertise both internally and as a service to customers
• Create internal and external resources e.g., IP, Documentation, research papers, training materials etc.

What do YOU need?

• Higher Degree in scientific discipline
• Involvement in a research or analytical project in an academic or commercial setting
• Proven ability in the application of statistics and data science for complex data
• Practical experience developing clear, concise, and practical procedures, analysis pipelines and supporting documentation
• Experience in statistical programming languages: SAS, R, SQL or Python
• Knowledge in data manipulation, data analysis and analytical pipelines
